Focus on: The God of Power and Miracles
“Lord, I praise You because You perform miracles and display Your power among the peoples.” (Psalm 77:14)
Pray for: The Holy Spirit to move in our midst.
Please pray that we would know more of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Pray that God would remove the barriers to our intimacy with Him and to our being transformed by His presence. Pray that as a church we would remove barriers to us worshipping God radically with all that we have and all that we are. Pray that as a church we would be characterized as a place where people can come no matter their background to encounter the living God. Pray that we would take our call seriously that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to do the works of Jesus. Pray that we would see the works of Jesus (healing, deliverance, salvation, compassion, freedom) in our worship gatherings as well as in our day to day interactions. Pray that we would be encouraged by each other and empowered by the Holy Spirit in our worship gatherings to go out and demonstrate the Kingdom of God in the world around us the other 6 days per week. Pray for our worship teams that they would continue to lead us to the place of worshipping God with our voices and lives. Pray for all those who serve each week (host, hospitality, setup/teardown, tech, sound, children, etc.) to give us an opportunity to gather to worship and encounter the living God as we gather. Pray for our Ministry Teams as they pray for those who have needs and invite the Holy Spirit to transform people. Pray that the Holy Spirit would release all of His gifts in our midst and that we would be courageous in stepping out and using the gifts He gives to us.
