			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Vegans are a rare and dedicated breed. Most of us could care less if the shoes we are wearing are synthetic or made from animal products. Or whether or not our scarf comes from wool or acrylic. But this is what sets vegans apart. Vegans consciously abstain from any product that is made or derived from animals or animal products. This includes the obvious like meat, dairy and eggs, but it also includes such things as wool and leather.</p>
<p>All creatures, great and small, are a sacred part of nature. Buddhists believe that even the smallest living thing, such as an ant or flower, has a soul. The grace and tranquility that animals lend to the great outdoors is being destroyed. Greedy and selfish fashion hogs are consuming the resources the earth provides us. For example, ivory was once a fashion craze, at the expense of the lives of majestic elephants. Today, we see this cruelty echoed in leather foot wear. </p>
<p>However, the gentle vegetarians, known as vegans, are doing their part to preserve the natural world. Forsaking not only the foods from animals, but furs and leathers as well, the vegan may think that his or her feet are left with little choice. Luckily, vegan shoes are plentiful, produced from synthetic materials that beautifully mimic the real thing. </p>
<p>Vegan shoes are not limited to day-wear like tennis shoes or slippers. There are business shoes, boots, high heels, and outdoor hiking shoes. Entirely man made materials produce extremely fashionable vegan shoes. Textures range from luscious looking faux suede, to shiny and impressive leather replacements, to everyday sneaker material. </p>
<p>When you go hunting for a pair of vegan shoes, there are a few things to keep in mind. Mass producers of vegan shoes have a certain “kosher” quality to them. Manufacture of this footwear is overseen and designed by those concerned with the safety of animals, and in the interest of the wearer. While the idea of wearing a dead animal may be less than appealing to some, the appearance is known to be quite attractive. With this is in mind, the manufacturers have created vegan shoes that could fool even the most experienced fashionette. </p>
<p>Tennis shoes are the most commonly worn shoe in America. Designed for comfort and mobility, tennis shoes can be worn with anything excluding formal or business wear. Their water-resistant quality can be achieved quite effectively with pleathers (synthetics) and vinyls. One of the plus sides of vegan shoes is that they are more easily washed and cared for than animal skins. </p>
<p>Boots are many people&#8217;s favorites, especially during winter time. Their larger and thicker structure protects us from the elements, while their shaped heels and leggings provide a nice accent to any outfit. This season, the suede look has become particularly popular. With man-made synthetic fibers, vegan shoes can be on the feet of any animal-friendly person. </p>
<p>The vegan looking for business shoes may have found himself in a difficult shoe search. Wingtips and office shoes are almost always made from leather. Like all other shoes, the business shoe has been successfully imitated with pleathers and vinyls. Unlike regular business shoes, vegan shoes don&#8217;t need to be buffed and cleaned nearly as often. </p>
<p>As animal slaughter continues, conscience prompts many to turn to synthetic vegan shoes to combat human cruelty. Tennis shoes, boots, heels and business shoes can be as earth friendly as the rest of your wardrobe.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You may know a few people who seem to breeze though life. They are happy, and they always seem to have what seems like the best of luck with everything. You may even say that they are blessed, and you may even think that they deserve all of the happiness that they have found. Truthfully though, there is no such thing as a totally blessed life. No matter how good things are, there will be dark spots in any life. How you get through it will determine if you still want to consider your life to be blessed or not. When dealing with anxiety, you have to know how to come out on the other side with a new outlook while remaining positive. </p>
<p>It’s not always easy to get through what life throws at us. No matter what the troubled situation might be, dealing with anxiety brought about by a sudden turn in life’s path can be the hardest part. There are many who simply skip dealing with anxiety because they don’t even know what it is. They think if they ignore the feelings that they will go away. This cane come back to bite you rather hard. Feelings that don’t get resolved with fester and things will get worse. </p>
<p>When you avoid dealing with anxiety it came become a physical problem. You can get sick easily, and if you are fighting with a condition, you aren’t going to have the same results you would have with a clear and balanced mind. Emotions are more powerful than people realize, and they can severely affect your physical health. If you are having problems dealing with anxiety you should make sure you get some help dealing with everything you are feeling and fearing inside. </p>
<p>You can see your doctor for help with dealing with anxiety. They may be able to help you with short-term medications, or they may refer you to someone who can help you talk things through without having to take medications. Though dealing with anxiety is not very easy, you will find that life is so much better when you come out on the other side. It may seem dark and dreary while you are going through it, but sunnier skies are out there for you if you just work towards them. When a person with a blessed life hits a road bump it came seem like a train wreck, but they also know what a good life is like. Even if your life has not been what you would call blessed, at least believe that it can be.

The evening prayer has attracted a larger than usual number of worshippers. Today, the advent of the new moon might herald the start of the holy month of Ramadan - the Muslim month of fasting. In an effort to observe the Sunnah of the Muhammad (PBUH), some worshippers are busy trying to sight the new moon when the call to prayer is made. After the prayer, the Imam is informed that the new moon has been sighted. Members of the council also confirm this news. This prompts worshippers to congratulate each other and the mosque is filled with the chants of Allahu Akbar (God is great). </p>
<p>For this group the holy month of Ramadan has begun. Yet Muslims in many other mosques are still debating whether or not the new moon has been sighted. Sunni Muslims generally look to Saudi Arabia for answers to this, as well as many other religious matters. Although ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) has established for North American Muslims, a Shura (or consultation) council for dealing with controversial religious issues (such as moon sighting), many Imams in local mosques decide such matters on their own. </p>
<p>Year after year, this story is repeated among Muslims in many towns around the world. This pillar of Islam begins with controversy among Muslims and ends with controversy. Shias have their own clerical system and their Imams look to Iran in this matter rather than Saudi Arabia. One wonders if this is the way our messenger Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions started and ended the holy month of Ramadan.</p>
<p>Since the Quran prescribed fasting specifically in the month of Ramadan, it is important to know the significance of this special time. A special feature of the Quran is that whenever it gives a command for action, it also provides the wisdom behind it. It tells what the final result of that action will be in this world, if it is successfully carried out. In this way the Quran provides a pragmatic test for people to see whether or not they are moving toward that desired result. Regarding fasting, the Quran says: </p>
<p>O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint . [al-Baqarah 2:183] Translation: Yusuf Ali </p>

<p>When life began for us, our system was clean and efficient in the way that it processed what we ate. As we entered our teens and our hormones started kicking in, the way that our digestive system reacted to the foods we consumed changed. As we pass our teens and enter into adulthood our enzyme production changes. And as we enter every stage of life the way that our body reacts to food changes. Doesnt it make sense that our eating habits should also change. Has it? If youre like 99% of Americans, the answers is, no.</P><P>You see, each time our body goes through a change, no matter how big of small, the consistency and the concentration of enzymes in our systems also change. Meaning that we must either change the way that we eat, or continuously clean out our digestive tracts. The latter is much easier! Changing the way that we eat would entail: first monitoring our cyclical tendencies, to show when we needed to change, and then testing out how different foods affected us. By the time that we tested out all of the foods thoroughly enough, our bodys would most likely have entered into another stage, and it would be time to start the whole process over again. Rather than going through all that, you could easily keep your digestive system clean by fasting once per week.</P><P>When the human body is given the wrong foods on a regular basis it tends to build up matter on the walls of its colon and lower bowels. If this matter is allowed to remain - it ferments. This fermentation causes smells to emanate either from the skin or the mouth. This matter is responsible for something even worse than fermentation, it is the main cause of any blockage in the bowels. This blockage can, at its worst case, cause illness and eventually death.</P><P>Throughout the years, this matter forms layers which are virtually glued to the walls of your digestive tract, the longer they are left alone, the higher up they can venture. Usually starting within your colon and traveling up your lower bowels. The real danger here. There is a protective valve that is responsible for only allowing substances to pass down from your digestive tract into your elimination tract. When this matter eventually reaches this valve, it will hinder its performance, allowing this poisonous, fermenting matter up into your digestive system. Which will process it like it were a food and unfortunately assimilate it into pieces so small that they will enter your blood stream an! d cause some type of toxic poisoning.</P><P>But before this whole process begins, our bodys have a sort of warning mechanism that will signal. The warning is usually, yes you guessed it, constipation. Something that we have all experienced at one time or another. Although constipation is always bad, getting constipated does not always mean that we are in danger of toxic poisoning. People who are constantly constipated or plagued with frequent spurts of constipation are the ones that this is aimed at.</P><P>Cleaning out the entire elimination tract and re-energizing the entire digestive tract once per week is recommended for everyone. This process will scrape away at the built up matter and eventually flush all of it out, allowing your entire system a chance to really function the way that it was meant to. <p>Why is juicing so effective?</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s how this wonderful health weapon works: juices are absorbed almost immediately into your body, thus supplying needed vitamins and minerals. Cooking vegetables removes a lot of their nutritional value, but juicing saves these vitamins and minerals. So you get mega-doses of vitamins and minerals.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s say you make a carrot-apple drink from one apple and four carrots. Imagine sitting<br />
down and eating all those at one time in their original state! But you get the vitamins and minerals from the fruit and vegetables in their juice and it&#8217;s living! That&#8217;s because the vitamins and minerals have not been destroyed by the pasteurization process used to make juice sold<br />
in stores.</p>
<p>How do you get the maximum health return from juicing?</p>
<p>Start your day right by drinking freshly-made juice. It&#8217;s wise to drink it before you eat and then wait about ten minutes (before eating the rest of your breakfast) to give your body a headstart as it absorbs the life-giving fluid into your bloodstream.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t let the juice sit around, but drink it within minutes of making it to retain those precious vitamins and minerals.</p>
<p>You can also add to your fiber intake by using the pulp in muffins and bread. Just add the pulp of your favorite fruits and vegetables to your recipe and you&#8217;ll have a moist taste-bud pleasing treat!</p>
<p>How are fruits and vegetables prepared for juicing?</p>
<p>First wash them. Cut out any bad spots that you wouldn&#8217;t want to eat. You usually don&#8217;t need to peel fruits and vegetables.</p>
<p>What are some popular juice recipes?</p>
<p>1. Carrot Juice</p>
<p>Carrots are a favorite for juicing purposes. Put them through your juicer one at a time and don&#8217;t peel them. </p>
<p>Carrot drinks taste great all by themselves, but you can also use them as a base for other fruits and vegetables too. Carrots and apples taste wonderful together. Children love this combination taste treat!</p>
<p>2. Celery Juice</p>
<p>Celery should be cut into 3-4 inch sections and fed into your machine at a steady pace.</p>
<p>3. Fresh Apple Drink</p>
<p>Just cut the apples into pieces that will fit into the feeding chamber. You don&#8217;t need to core them, although you might want to do so. </p>
<p>4. Melon Thirst Quencher</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll need to remove the rinds but not the seeds. Most varieties of melons are great for juicing.</p>
<p>5. Combo Drink</p>
<p>Add all different kinds of vegetables together, including tomatoes. It&#8217;s fun to experiment!<br />
But don&#8217;t put in vegetables or fruit that you don&#8217;t like to eat because your beverage won&#8217;t taste good to you. </p>
<p>What kinds of juicers are available?</p>
<p>1. Centrifugal-ejection machines</p>
<p>These are good for most uses.</p>
<p>2. Low-speed masticating juicers</p>
<p>These do a better job juicing spinach and wheatgrass.</p>
<p>3. Twin gear juicers</p>
<p>These machines work in two stages. First the fruits and vegetables are crushed and then the juice is pressed out. You get a higher quality drink because of this process, but twin gear machines are slower than the other juicers.</p>
<p>4. Citrus juicers</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re just squeezing lemons, oranges and grapefruit, this is the one for you.</p>
<p>The better the machine, the longer the warranty. The inexpensive juicers aren&#8217;t made to withstand daily use. A powerful motor extracts juice faster with less strain. Centrifugal juicers should have a motor rating of at least 450-watts. Machines that use a slow, grinding motor speed (masticating and double-auger models) don&#8217;t need as much wattage.</p>

Citric fruits have citric acid and the more tart they are the more acid they have.</P><P>Fresh juice is a fast way to get all types of nutrients into the blood quickly. As juice nutrients get into your blood, they suck out toxics and build up tissues. In your colon they destroy bad bacteria, feed wall tissue, pull out toxins, and have laxative action.</P><P>Even though juices provide helpful action throughout the body, it is best to limit their use and drink them in larger quantities only when trying to accomplish certain health benefits.</P><P>If you use natural foods with laxative effects, their laxative effect diminishes after long-term use.</P><P>If you have diabetes or adrenal fatigue, limit your use of fruits and juices when you first wake up in the morning. However, exercise in the morning will help you tolerate drinking some juices in the morning</P><P>When juicing fruits and vegetables, the more fiber that is left with the juice the better results you will get with your constipation.</P><P>It is always best to use fresh juices, but as a last resort using packaged juices will be better than not drinking anything.</P><P>Apples and Apple Juice</P><P>Apples are good for eliminating constipation because they are high in pectin, a soluble fiber, have many minerals, and contain sorbitol - a natural sugar, which stimulates peristaltic action. Pectin helps to detoxify the intestines and promote regular bowel movements.</P><P>The fiber in apples adds weight and bulk to your fecal matter and helps draw water from your colon into the fecal matter keeping the stool from becoming hard and thus preventing constipation.</P><P>Apples are one of best fruits to eat because they are high in minerals, which provide alkaline electrolytes to your body. What electrolytes do is neutralize acids that are created during illness, anxiety, anger, exercising, breathing pollution, and improper eating. Body acid is a major reason we get deadly diseases as we age</P><P>Make eating apples or drinking fresh apple juice a daily habit. They are also effective in liver and gallbladder problems.</P><P>Heres what to do.</P><P>Use crisp and hard apples such as granny smith, Fuji, or gala apples for juicing.</P><P>Drink three glass of apple juice during the day - morning, noon, and evening. In combination with drinking fresh apple juice, eat 3-4 apples each day to get fiber. The combination of eating and drinking apples juice will activate your colon to start moving stagnant matter.</P><P>One-day apple and apple juice fast</P><P>You can also do a one-day or two-day apple and apple juice fast by, eating 3-4 apples during the day. Drink apples juice every two hours. Dont eat anything until the next morning.
